Institutional introduction
Created to protect, preserve, and promote Kuchipudi.
Transforming Kuchipudi into a Global Cultural Experience.

Sampradaayam Cultural Trust was established with a singular purpose: to safeguard and nurture the living tradition of Kuchipudi dance, one of India's great classical art forms, while advancing a clear vision to take this heritage to the global stage. Under the guidance of Hon'ble Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, the institution is being shaped as a flagship cultural centre that brings together tradition, excellence, and global outreach. Rooted in the ancient Gurukula system of learning, it integrates rigorous training, cultural scholarship, and stage performance within a unified ecosystem that reflects both authenticity and ambition.
Set in the serene village of Kallepally in Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh, the Sampradaayam campus offers a rare environment where students live and learn amidst nature, discipline, and tradition. As part of a broader vision to transform Andhra Pradesh into a global cultural tourism hub, this Gurukulam is evolving into a destination where art, heritage, and lived experience converge, welcoming artists, scholars, and visitors from across the world to engage with Kuchipudi in its most authentic form.
Through education, productions, festivals, and cultural exchange, Sampradaayam continues its commitment to protecting, preserving, and promoting Kuchipudi for future generations, while contributing to a larger vision of establishing Andhra Pradesh as a leading global centre for cultural excellence and heritage tourism.
